Our Story

Cuddy's Cuisine is the culmination of a multi-generational dream, born in the minds of my grandparents, who operated a little wooden cook shop in Jamaica. After migrating to the United States, I searched tirelessly for the familiar traditional Caribbean taste but nothing I found ever came close to the rich piquancy of my grandparent's cooking.

Eventually, I came to the realization that the secret to their success was not only in the choice of herbs and spices but more so, in the care and passion they placed into preparing every meal. I remember watching people connect and build a community while sharing their meals. Grandma would often say,"some good food and a full stomach creates a happy home!"

This resonated with me over the years and sparked my desire to bring a taste of home to New Yorkers! Cuddy's Cuisine was founded on a strong commitment to share our Island's flavors with the diverse communities of New York City through a variety of authentic dishes offered by Cuddy's food truck and catering service.
